GetDiz

GetDiz is a basic text editor that can be used as a substitute for Notepad. Fortunately, it is much more versatile and includes many more features compared with Windows built-in text editor.

One of the main advantages of GetDiz is that it allows saving the contents not only as text but also as GIF images. It is also a good thing that the program supports a wide array of languages. However, you should keep in mind that this app is not a replacement for more sophisticated word processors, as it cannot manage media objects and text formatting.
